    Interior

As designer/builders in partnership with Ernie Bayles and Adam Klausner, we constructed a new 1600 square foot superinsulated green home on an infill lot in downtown Ithaca. Previously a neighborhood eyesore, filling in this “missing” tooth in the streetscape was a great benefit to the community, as well as the almost zero-energy consumption of the home contributing to our ongoing effort to “Green Ithaca.” Built with passive solar concepts and 9” thick walls, this home both heats and cools itself with almost no input from natural gas or electricity.
